David Attenborough’s Great Barrier wins two awards at Waimea Ocean Film Festival

Last week David Attenborough’s Great Barrier Reef was awarded two accolades at the Waimea Ocean Film Festival in Hawaii. The series was awarded the Best Ocean Environment award and Best Film (Episode 1, Builders). We are really honoured that this beautiful series is still begin recognised for its outstanding storytelling and communication of important environment sustainability themes.
Atlantic’s CEO and Creative Director, Anthony Geffen, was invited to speak about the making of the series at this incredible festival. Every January the Waimea Ocean Film Festival brings a rich and dynamic film program, coupled with filmmaker Q&As, presentations and panel discussions highlighting ocean experience and ocean environment.
